Nyx had slipped, soundlessly, into Adrian's office. She had also taken great care to make sure that no one was around to see her do so. Viridian eyes scanned the room, even in it's unlit dimness, she didn't think that Adrian was around. Tiptoeing across the room, Nyx planted her butt neatly upon Adrian's desk, somehow missing any of the trinkets that he might have had there. Curling her fingers around the lip of the desk, Nyx kicked her legs back and forth, shoes dangling from her white-socked toes. A wicked smile slithered onto her lips, looking around like a hawk whom had perched herself in wait of a mouse -- Though, quite obviously, it would be the other way around.
A thought occurred to her that Adrian could be in the office, waiting, hidden. It didn't really seem like him, but... "Come out, come out, wherever you are." She called in a sing-song voice, ethereally beautiful in it's wickedness. A hand, alabaster and effeminate, moved to pat at a yawn that dared to escape her lips. The same hand moved to brush dirty blonde-brown tendrils from her deep emerald gaze, which had moved about, scanning the office once more. If Adrian wasn't in, then he would be soon, no doubt.
The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.

Sitting in the large black leather chair by the window, Adrian watched soundlessly as Nyx attempted to sneak into his office. He watched as she crossed the floor and planted herself on his desk. He smiled surprised she hadn't seen him. Someone obviously had their mind on something else. Dressed in a pair of stone wash jeans, today's color choice of shirt was a deep red. Arms resting casually on the arm rests of the chair Adrian smirk as she called out to him.
Standing Adrian made his way soundlessly around to behind his desk. As it was, Nyx was positioned facing away from him and with any luck she wouldn't here him come up behind her. Softly, the History professor placed his hands over his eyes. "Guess who," he said his tone playful. He knew it was childish but he couldn't resist.

Nyx didn't jump, though she was quite surprised. The smile on her lips spread a bit, into a lazy half-grin. Slender hands moved up, to curls around Adrian's, pulling them down. "Severus, is that you?" She exclaimed, feigning shock, which quickly faded into a smile. Her bottom lip jutted out, lightly; A pout that could get her anything she wanted. "Oh, shoot. Here I was thinking that I might find Adrian here." She whined, turning her body slightly to look at him, still holding his hands.
Tilting her head, she just stared at him for a moment, her gaze locking in his own. She knew all-too-well what that could do to her, and she didn't care. "My! Severus, you've grown suddenly... Sexy!" Again, the fake shock, jaw-drop and all. Slowly, she turned once more and hopped down from the desk, gliding around to the back.

Adrian gave a small chuckle as Nyx spoke. Her touch was warm against his own as she placed her hands upon his. Shaking his head slightly as Nyx continued to play on who he was, Adrian shrugged his shoulders. "Well m'dear, sadly I have to inform you that you're out of luck. Adrian isn't here tonight." He grinned down at her as she turned to look up at him. "Shucks eh?"
As Nyx locked eyes with him, Adrian looked directly into her eyes, his not moving for an instant off of hers. As she hoped off of his desk, Adrian took a step back as he waited for her to come around the desk. Crossing his arms loosely, Adrian smirked at her next comment. "Well then. I guess since I'm in fact Severus - I have no idea when I turned into him.. but that's beside the point- I don't have to worry about anything happening between us tonight then." He smirked wondering what Nyx would say to that. She'd probably come up with some witty comment, but it didn't matter. Adrian found their playful bantering to be quite amusing.

Nyx threw her head back and laughed, melodious, but quiet. Lifting her head back up, she looked to Adrian once more. Again, she smiled, her tongue caught where canines would be if she had any. Tossing her weight backward slightly, she tossed her hair around to one shoulder, then stood with her hands clasped behind her back. "How sure are you?" She inquired, both brows now lofted, a smirk on her lips, head tilted forward. It was a challenge, a 'try me'. Nyx was, without a doubt, clay. She could be shaped and molded into whatever was needed -- But only by herself, puddy in her own hands. No one could really tell you what Nyx was like, because there was a good chance that they were wrong. From one moment to the next, she was someone different, a permanent masquerade. Perhaps the only one who could tell you what Nyx was really like was Adrian -- He brought out the real Nyx.
Taking a step closer, she stared up at him, being that he was a bit taller than she. Perfect. She wasn't going to say anything else. This was cat and mouse, physics applied to metaphysics. Once Adrian spoke, she would reply to that. But until then, she was just going to remain silent, smirking with her tongue at her teeth and deviousness in her eyes.
